Pastor Ron Kidder

At the age of 24, Ron Kidder left a valued position in the music industry to serve as a Youth Pastor with Mt Spring Chapel of Huntsville Alabama. In 2005, Ron and his wife, Debby, moved to Athens, TN after he was called to be Senior Pastor of Hilltop View Community Church.

As Senior Pastor, he has become well known for his unique style in teaching the Scriptures, bringing them to life and helping them become personal to all people both young and old.

Ron’s passion is to help God’s people understand the principle of faith in God while at the same time preaching the importance of good works which help us to demonstrate the power of our faith and glorify God. He believes, as did his predecessors at Hilltop View, that the Bible should be preached cover to cover in an attempt to stop himself and the congregation from picking and choosing the doctrines that they would like to follow.
